How we assess prospective students
What are the E2 Academy requirements?
Testing RequirementWe require psycho-educational testing and input from various sources to understand each student's unique profile. Students need to score at or above 85th percentile in at least one composite score on their psychoeducational assessment. |
Diagnosis CriteriaWe accept students with severe disabilities and will thoughtfully consider those with mild or moderate disabilities. However, cognitive deficits or severe behavior disorders may limit our ability to serve certain students. |
Individual AssessmentWe examine each student's profile individually, considering formal testing results and asynchronous development profiles. |
Learning ProfileWe review information from various sources to identify each applicant's learning profile, making every effort to assess each applicant as a whole person. |
Applicant SelectionWe select applicants that are best served by E2 Academy and meet our eligibility criteria. |
Specialized SupportE2 Academy cannot serve students with moderate to severe cognitive deficits, severe behavior disorders or students requiring personal care/health-related interventions (other than the administration of medication). Students must be toilet trained. |
